Thanks to a reader of the OMGUbuntu website we learned that BQ would be preparing a new terminal with Ubuntu Phone, a terminal that will be called Midori. I Why do we say it’s from BQ and not from Meizu? Well, simply because of the alias.
In addition to being a very famous web browser, Midori is the name of one of the Dragon Ball characters. One of the most famous children’s and animated series of all time. BQ is the only one to call its devices by the nickname Dragon Ball while Meizu uses the name of Akira Toriyama’s Arale series. It is also true that it was said that BQ would be creating a unique device for Ubuntu Phone.the tracks from this device have been found in a bug report where Midori appears to be giving conflict. This is no less curious because in the release code of Release Candidate also appears this name and may indicate that the new terminal is closer than ever to the market. At the very least, this indicates that the terminal with Ubuntu Phone exists and is a reality.
Midori will be a new device, but when will we know?
Sure, so far BQ has not commented on the issue and may not do so until the official release, but of course everything points to BQ as the creator of this device and will also be new. If we follow in the footsteps of BQ launches, we see how their terminals have first been Android terminals, if we follow the line, now it would touch the BQ Aquaris M5, but this terminal has the nickname Piccolo, so it will not be Midori. Instead, it has long been said that BQ would be creating a unique device for Ubuntu Phone, it may be that the Spanish company, in relation to the web browser and the Dragon Ball character, have decided to use this nickname.
Anyway, both specifications and release date are unknown, But we may know over the next few weeks Don’t you believe?
