According to forums and internal conversations, the new improvements seem to be aimed at continue to evolve the functions introduced in the OTA-12, Especially those referring to the X Apps and support for Ubuntu Phones newer ones, like the Meizu MX6 Ubuntu Edition.

Another improvement that is intended to be introduced in the upcoming OTA-13 Ubuntu Touch is the support for the new Ubuntu Phone that will be released in the market, the Meizu MX6 Ubuntu Edition. Although the terminal has not been officially recognized by Meizu itself, is expected to support this operating system thanks to the new base that will contain Ubuntu Touch, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow BSP (Board Support Package).
