The application will allow us choose the desktop environment of our preference -KDE, GNOME, LXDE, XFCE, etc.-, the window manager, to set packages will be installed i the repositories that will be available from the beginning. Ubuntu Builder allows us to further customize 32-bit and 64-bit images, Being able to choose the best option depending on the architecture of our computer.
Also, if we wish, we can give a name to the distribution we create and even edit Ubiquity.
Installing Ubuntu Builder couldn’t be easier. You just have to download the package .deb from the official site of the tool, or we can do it by adding the PPA f-Muriana / ubuntu-builder with the order:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:f-muriana/ubuntu-builder
And after that refresh and install with:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install ubuntu-builder
