For various reasons that do not come to the case I had to go back to Xubuntu, the official taste of Ubuntu with the Xfce desktop. I did several versions that didn’t use it continuously and now I’ve discovered some interesting new features like wallpaper rotation automatically.
This utility is interesting if we like to customize our desktop a lot and it is more interesting since its use will prevent the system and our ram memory from loading with other external applications that will slow down the system.

How to enable Wallpaper rotation in Xubuntu
In order to activate this new feature we must go to «Desktop settings …»Which we can find by right-clicking on the desktop. In the first screen that appears, at the bottom we will find an option that says: » Change the wallpaper:»We will leave this option checked and choose the time (minutes, seconds and hours) that we want between wallpaper and wallpaper.
It will now rotate the images in the selected folder. one recommendation and in order not to find undesirable surprises it is to create a folder with images that we have put up. Then we selected this folder as standard in the “Directory” option and ready. This precaution is done because the Xfce program captures all the images in the images folder to which we can add personal downloads that we do not want to appear on the screen or be made public.
Another interesting option that is close to the minute marker is the “random order” if we mark it, the images will rotate randomly, a more fun and interesting option. Personally I think rotating the wallpaper is a necessary thing if we want to customize our computer and tools like this are tremendously useful or so it seems to me What do you think?
