As you can see in the video in the header, installing Heimdall is as simple as download a couple of files and install using our terminal Ubuntu.
These two files I leave you, they are of a lower version which you can see in the installation video, this is due to the multiple drops and hangs on the Heimdall, So I chose to add the ones I have saved to my 4Shared.
Anyway try to get to the official page of Heimdall and download the files I marked for you in the video.
Remember that if you do this with files downloaded from my 4Shared, you should keep this in mind when enter the name in the order for installation.
To install them we will open a new terminal and first navigate to the folder where let’s have both files downloaded, In this case the Downloads:
And we list the content with the order ls.
Now simply with the order his dpkg -i plus the name of the file to install we will install the files one by one:
Now we will Heimdall installed on our Ubuntu, and to run we just have to type in the terminal Heimdall-frontend.
