A new version of was released a few days ago Liferea, One of the most popular desktop clients for reading web sources in the world Linux, Which fixes Tiny Tiny RSS support as well as fixing other minor bugs.
Liferea 1.8.12 is a maintenance release that can be easily installed on Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal.
To be able to install the latest version of the RSS reader in Ubuntu you must first add the official repository of the application. To do this we open a console and enter the command:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:liferea/ppa
And then we run:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install liferea
Users of earlier versions of Ubuntu will have to wait for the Liferea team to release the new version of the program for previous releases of the distribution. The installation method indicated on these lines also applies to users of Linux Mint 14.
