Whenever I see something related to Lara Croft, I remember that first PC game in which a very good-looking protagonist appeared, wearing shorts and her two pistols. Everything has changed a lot since the 90s, but where it is most noticeable is in the graphics and now we can also play the last title of Tomb Raider from any computer running Linux and that it meets the minimum requirements.
The news was given by Feral Interactive from his Twitter account and, as you can see in the following video, it looks like the game is worth it. For those who don’t know, Tomb Raider games are usually adventure games which combine third-person shooters (where we see Lara up close) and some riddles or puzzles that will drive us crazy at some point to find the solution and keep moving forward.

Looking for a Tomb Raider release date for Linux? “Go freaking out”: Lara will come to Linux … today!
- Tomb Raider for Linux makes use of OpenGL and should work with most Nvidia graphics cards that have at least 1GB of memory and use Nvidia’s proprietary Linux driver binaries.
- Intel i3 (or AMD FX-6300).
- 4GB of RAM.
- Users of an AMD GPU need a card with at least 2GB. The game works with the controller TABLE 11.2.
For optimal performance, Feral Interactive recommends the following:
- Intel i5
- 8GB RAM.
- NVIDIA GeForce 760 GPU
- 3 GB of graphics memory.
Tomb Raider is now available for Linux for one price of € 19.99, Which I do not think much if we consider the price at which these types of games are sold in their version for consoles. A DLC pack is available that «improves Lara’s formative first adventure with all single-player DLCs as well as the online experience»Which is priced at € 18.99.
If you prefer, the latest Tomb Raider game is also available on Steam for the same price from THIS LINK.
