As the owner of a low-resource computer, one of the official flavors of Ubuntu that I like the most is Ubuntu MAT. Admittedly, this taste is not the lightest of all, but it combines an image to which I have been accustomed for years with more agility than that offered by the standard version and its graphical environment. unity. That’s why you experience opposite feelings when you see the tweet you have after the cut.
The first thing I heard is that this image is an aberration of technology. Why upload what such a good result has been offering us users? To me, it made no sense. But it does have it if we consider that it is actually only one option that can be activated from system preferences. We could say it’s just a topic or skin which will come under the name of Mutiny and will unite part of the Unity environment with the agility of MAT. Interesting, right?
Mutiny, the new optional image of Ubuntu MAT
There’s Mutiny coming! Yes, that is a top menu. Yes, this is Ubuntu MAT. See you Thursday for the Beta 1 release! pic.twitter.com/PVmvkHj8fc

A Mutiny is coming! Yes, it is a top menu. Yes, it is Ubuntu MAT. See you on Thursday with the launch of beta1!
Mutiny was created in November last year. In fact, his idea came up in a pub on a Podcast in which its creator, Martin Wimpress, was present. It just mimics the Unity UI, though without Dash or Hud. If you want to try it out, the first beta will be available starting February 25th, which is next Thursday. I will definitely install it on a USB to try it out.
This new option adds appeal to Ubuntu MAT. If it was already my favorite version, this new image could be the reason I also installed this taste on other laptops with less limited resources, but I will still have to try the final version of Ubuntu 16.04 LTS which will be officially released on April 21st.
