uWriter, a word processor for our Ubuntu Phone

Ubuntu Convergence is almost a reality, but still, this reality needs apps and features that work indiscriminately in mobile and desktop mode. Some of these apps have become famous as UNAV but it seems that this exclusivity has not lasted long.

We recently came across an app called uWriter that not only allows us to write text notes on our mobile but can be used as an efficient word processor which will work in both mobile and desktop mode.

uWriter is a word processor optimized for all devices

uWriter does not have complex features like LibreOffice or Microsoft Word but if it works as well as Google Docs, a cloud alternative that many users will surely be using for lack of good options like uWriter. The best thing about uWriter is its mobile mode. Unlike many other apps, including Android apps, uWriter has an ideal design for any user not only can you write easily but you can also scroll through the application menus and you can quickly and effectively apply the styles you want to your text.

uWriter is also compatible with other terminal technologies, ie compatible with bluetooth, So that the user can connect a keyboard or mouse to his mobile and be able to write text as if it were a desktop computer, without having a data connection, unlike other services such as Google Drive. This makes uWriter ideal not only for mobile but also for devices like tablets or desktop mode.

The app is free and available from or through the Ubuntu Store uApp Explorer, An interesting market to find new apps and applications for our devices Don’t you believe?
